Q: Will your company actually buy my house?
A: Great question. We do not want to list your house and we are not trying to get your house under contract so that we can find someone else to buy it. Some house buyers try to get your house under contract so that they can assign the contract to someone else. We do not do this!!! We are professional house buyers: We buy houses in Huntsville, Decatur, Athens, Florence, Birmingham, and surrounding cities that meet our purchasing criteria. From there we may repair the house and resell it to another homeowner or keep it as a rental ourselves.
Q: Do you pay fair prices for properties?
A: We pay the most that we can while still making sure that we are able to resell the property after we fix it up make a profit. The best part about buying houses is seeing the relief that we provide to people that need to sell their house fast. With that said, we still have to make a profit or we wouldn’t be able to help people with their unwanted houses.
Q: How do you determine the price to offer on my house?
A: Great question, and we’re an open book: Our process is very straightforward. We look at the location of the property, what repairs are needed, the current condition of the property, and values of comparable houses sold in the area recently. From there we typically start at 70% of the value of the home after it is rehabbed minus the cost of the rehab. This number can be high or lower depending on the circumstances but the 70% rule is pretty accurate.
Q: Are there any fees or commissions to work with you?
